Psychosis

Psychosis is a condition that affect the mind and leads to unusual ideas, and changes in perception and thinking.

Symptoms: Decline in social functions, depression, disorganized behavior, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, schizoaffective disorder (hallucination, delusions & cognitive impairment)

Psychotic episode occurs in three phases

    Stress is “the feeling of being overwhelmed or unable to cope with mental or emotional pressure.” Everyone can experience stressful situation which can be positive sometimes. There is a reason our bodies elicit the response. When we face a demanding situation, our stress response can help us perform better and work more efficiently to resolve whatever problem we face. Too much stress can cause mental and physical health problems

    Caregiver Stress

    Caregivers provides direct care to people in need of help with everyday task daily. Caregiving can be a disabled child, aging relative, an ill spouse or partner. Although caregiving is rewarding it is incredibly stressful to the extent that it can put the caregiver’s health at risk. All family caregivers need support, but their focus is on their loved one, while neglecting their health and well-being till they are burnout and stress takes over.

    Extreme low moods, or when sadness last for a longer time and obstructs daily functions then it is depression. It affects sleeping, thinking eating and energy.
